arleneriosThe bad thing when you appl for a federal contractor job is the waiting time before starting a new job. Add to that the background checks and more waiting. Add to that trying to get a CAC card and my nerves are all fried by now.
Meh!
It is FRUSTRATING.
The last time I got a CAC card it took forever and only to get a card that I ended up not using at all. I should still be in the system, but this is the feds we are talking about. meh.
I don't think I will feel I am in the new job until I am there.
In other news: yesterday I took Dave's car and finally had the oil change done, it was way over due, and managed to get the car inspected. I may go to HEB and get the sticker maybe tomorrow. I am also debating whether to take the dogs for their shots, but getting those 2 in a car is an odyssey, not to mention that Oreo gets car sick. Poppy has no problems traveling in the car.
Last night I did my private class, and it was kind of surreal, but my students are not at fault for what is happening between me and the school. I told them we have 5 more sessions left, so I am hoping I can just get through these and be done with it. I really doubt they are going to offer me any more classes, and at this point I don't care. I think I did things right by letting them know I was leaving.
And let's not forget that I basically left the classes all ready with all the material assigned for the 4 weeks duration for each class. In other words, I did their job. Yes, I am bitter. Sue me.
